Why is shipping haulted from 8/16–8/28?

We’re in the process of moving our operations to the New York area so we can get you your products quicker and more efficiently. Although we’re working to make this transition as seamless as possible, it does take time and we have to temporarily halt shipping as a result. All orders place between 12pm EST Friday, August 16 to Wednesday, August 28 will be shipped out beginning Thursday, August 29. We apologize for the inconvenience as we make this major improvement. Are Cover FX products gluten-free? Vegan? Crulety free?

Yes, all Cover FX products are gluten-free, vegan and cruelty-free (PETA-approved). Every product is free of the Inflammatory 5: parabens, mineral oil, fragrance, talc and gluten.

Are Cover FX products safe to use during pregnancy?

Yes, all Cover FX products are safe to use during pregnancy. Since every person is different, we still recommend discussing with your physician.

How long will it take to receive my order?

Your order will arrive approximately 3 – 7 business days from date of purchase. A UPS tracking number will be emailed to you when your order is shipped. Please note that expedited shipping does not include processing time.

What is your Return and Exchange policy?

Unopened or gently used products purchased from coverfx.com may be returned for refund or exchange within 30 days from the date of purchase. The original shipping fee is not refundable. The customer is responsible for the return shipping and handling fees. All returns must be received by Cover FX within 30 days from the date of purchase. Please note that we do not accept returns or exchanges for used products or products purchased at retail stores.

What is the Shade Match Guarantee?

All foundations are eligible for free returns or exchanges within 14 days of order receipt. Simply email customerservice@coverfx.com and our Customer Experience team will help you find a better match—or refund your purchase price—and we’ll cover the return postage.

We reserve the right to cancel any order due to unauthorized, altered or ineligible use of this return offer. Foundations include: Power Play Foundation, Natural Finish Foundation, Total Cover Cream Foundation, Custom Cover Drops and Pressed Mineral Foundation. Other restrictions may apply.

How will I know if my order has been received?

An email confirmation with an order number and summary will be sent to you. Be sure to check your junk/spam folder. If you have an account, you can also sign in to track the status of your order. If you cannot find your confirmation/shipping email, please reach out to customerservice@coverfx.com for further assistance.

What if I place an order and the items are out of stock?

The item will automatically be removed from your order. You will not be charged for this item.

Do you ship internationally?

Coverfx.com currently ships to Canada and the United States only. However, we partner with a number of retail sites that ship internationally, including Beauty Bay, Beautylish, CultBeauty, Space NK and FeelUnique.

What are my payment options?

We accept American Express, MasterCard, Visa, PayPal, and Apple Pay for all orders.

What are my shipping options?

All coverfx.com orders placed in the U.S. are shipped via UPS Standard Ground Shipping, Second Day Shipping and Overnight Shipping. Place Second Day and Overnight orders by 10:00 am EST Monday through Friday (excluding holidays) to enjoy same-day shipping. Orders placed after 10:00 am EST on business days or on weekends and holidays will be shipped on the next business day. At this time, only Standard Ground Shipping is offered in Canada. All orders are subject to authorization. Only authorized orders will be processed and shipped.

How do I cancel an order?

To request cancellation of an order you have placed, please contact our Customer Experience team by email: customerservice@coverfx.com. While we cannot guarantee that your order can be cancelled, we will do our best to halt shipment. Please note, we are unable to edit or modify an order that has already been placed (including changes to your billing information, shipping address, and/or item quantity modifications). In order to make any changes to an existing order, it must be cancelled and replaced with the corrected information.

Does Cover FX Ship to P.O. Boxes?

No, Cover FX does not ship to P.O. boxes at this time. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Does Cover FX offer free samples?

Coverfx.com offers free samples with all orders. However, we do not offer free samples by mail without a purchase.

How do I add the Free Samples to my cart?

With every order on coverfx.com, you have the opportunity to select up to three complimentary samples upon checkout. You can view and select the samples currently available by scrolling down in your cart and selecting one of each to add. Samples are limited, may change from time to time and substitution may occur. It is not possible to add multiple quantities of the same sample to an order.

Please note that we are unable to add samples once the order has been submitted. Due to the limited nature of our complimentary samples, we regret that we are unable to reship samples if they arrive damaged, if you receive a substitute or if one is missing from your order. Samples are shipped with merchandise purchases only.

How do I match my skin tone and/or select a perfect shade?

We can help you find your perfect shade here . To find your Cover FX shade based on your shade in another foundation, click “Find Your Shade” on the product page and then select “Get Matched.” For additional support, contact our Customer Experience team by email: customerservice@coverfx.com.

What currency do you charge in?

Orders placed through our United States website will be charged in U.S. dollars and orders placed in Canada are charged in Canadian dollars.

How do I become an authorized seller of Cover FX?

Cover FX products are sold exclusively at coverfx.com and licensed retail/online stores in Canada, United States and United Kingdom. Unfortunately, we are not offering franchise or wholesale opportunities to independent retailers at this time.

What are the expiration dates of Cover FX products?

Products with active ingredients such as SPF or salicylic acid will have an expiration date, all other products will not. The label on these Cover FX products will have the following format: EXP Year Month. For example, a label that has EXP. 20 Aug means that the product expires in August 2020. If unopened, all our products have a three-year shelf life.

Why does my Total Cover Cream Foundation look like it has bubbles on it?

When products like the Total Cover Cream Foundation or lipsticks are exposed to prolonged warm temperatures - some emollients from within the product will come to the surface. As the product cools the emollients reabsorb into the product. The warmer the temperature, the more the sweating. This is normal and does not cause the product any damage unless it gets so warm it melts away from the pan.

Why does my Pressed Mineral Foundation have darker spots on it after I use it?

Glazing occurs primarily in pressed powder products when the applicator deposits oils or emollients from the skin or moisturizers back onto the pan. The excess oil is absorbed into the powder and creates a harder surface. Under normal use - the glazing is minimal and will wear away with use. It is not advisable to use a brush or sponge which has excess creams or emollients on it with this product.

Why does my Powder Brush lose colour when I wash it?

The Natrafil fibre in the Powder Brush are tinted black to create a uniform look (this is also standard practice with natural hair fibers, especially goat hair). The residual colour will darken the rinse water during the first few wash cycles of the brush. This is expected and is normal and does not affect the quality of the brush in any way.

How long do Cover FX products last?

If unopened, all our products have a 3 year shelf life.

Do you offer a discount program for professional makeup artists?

Our Professional Makeup Artist program is currently closed as we make changes to the program. Please check back for updates.

Why have Cover FX prices changed in Canada?

Our prices have recently changed in Canada to reflect the updated currency exchange rate. This is a common practice in the marketplace and we do not anticipate any further changes at this time.
